The Field-based Learning Program of Ivy Global School helps students have new and multi-dimensional perspectives through real-world knowledge and issues. We believe this goal can be achieved by building learner-centered sessions, where students make discoveries by engaging in a learning experience.
Depending on learning outcomes, a field-based experience could also be inquiry or project-based.

IGSers had the opportunity to participate in an exciting workshop: “Learn about Vietnamese traditional clothing”. This session is not only to honor Women’s Day (March 8) but also in the series of Ivy Global School’s field-based learning program.
Cooperated with the research and learning about Vietnamese traditional clothing organizations such as Dong Phong and Thanh Phong, IGS provided interesting knowledge about the history and culture of the Vietnamese people through a number of attires such as Ao Giao Linh, Ao Vien Linh, Ao Lap Linh Ngu Than… Students had the opportunity to use their observation skills and critical thinking to distinguish the similarities and differences in clothes among Asian countries, as well as transformed themselves into historical figures by trying on these different types of clothing.
The workshop simultaneously happened in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City
